Instructions and use

Assembly is very straight forward. There are only three items - a battery which must be charged, the vapor unit which screws into place and a disposable cartridge.

Assembly and first use

Make sure the battery is charged before proceeding. Unwrap the vapor unit and gently remove and discard the brown cap. This is not a cartridge but protects the vapor unit. Holding the vapor unit by the white band only, screw the unit onto the battery and then push on a new cartridge. That's all there is to it!

Now, gently draw on the cartridge to inhale your electronic cigarette for the first time. The vapor unit will take a couple of cartridges to 'burn in' completely and produce the full vapour. You may adjust your inhalation until you find what's best for you.

First reactions

Most people are amazed at the similarity with real smokng but remember, you are NOT burning tobacco so, although you are still 'smoking, you are not endangering the people around you or risking the same health problems of a normal cigarette. You can smoke anywhere, pub, train, boat or plane. Even a restaurant, just ask politely, explain what it is and respect that on other people's premises they may at first be uncertain.

Getting used to electronic smoking

Of course, this is not a filter, paper and tobacco that you set fire to! This is an electonic atomiser that is controlled by a microchip. The battery adds weight and at first it may feel more like a pen than a cigarette but you will get used to the difference over time and find your own techniques for smoking.

Just think back to when you started smoking. No one was born to smoking and almost every smoker took some time and perseverance to learn how to smoke. Now you have a reason to learn to smoke a much healthier alternative and save money too!

Hints and Tips

From experience, everyone smokes differently so cartridge use varies. Heavy smokers tend to draw more heavily seeking more nicotine and the reverse is true. Sometimes cartridges benefit from re-capping and leaving to stand on the cap allowing the fluid to drain back towards the atomiser. Be sure to stand them somewhere safe.

A battery that is not fully charged will not vaporise the liquid so effectively. In this case, the smoker will find themselves drawing more but the liquid is not fully vaporised. Less vapour is produced by a warm unit that has not had time to cool between 'smokes'. Cold fluid and charged battery produces the best 'smoke' so allow the cigarette time to rest between smoking. If all else fails, the cartridge or vapor unit may need replacing. The battery indicates by blinking when it is almost depleted but keeping it charged between use will give an added benefit. A second battery is always worth considering.

Finally, the electronic chip is very sensitive so that it responds quickly when you draw on the cigarette. For safety, always unscrew the battery when not in use to prevent air currents etc. turning the device on. This will prevent the vapour unit heating when not required and, since when connected the unit is on standby, extend the time between charging.
